Hampton Inn & Suites Mooresville/Lake Norman

We booked a Pet Friendly Room for a 1 night stay on our road trip to Atlanta. Room 117 was clean, attractive and quiet. There were safe, well illuminated grassy areas for walking our dog. On arrival, we were given a bag containing water for 2 adults and our pet, a list of pet friendly restaurants and contact info for a local vet. We recommend this facility to other travelers with fur babies.

4 out of 5 as the fridge was very small, but fit what was needed, don’t think it would work for more than 2 people. Rooms were clean, bathroom was clean, and staff was accommodating. Breakfast looked plentiful even though I only had time to grab bananas both mornings. Rooms have plenty of space which was important traveling with dogs & pet fee was reasonable. Would stay again. Thanks for the hospitality and love the sunflower X-Mas tree!

Hotel is okay for a night or two. We stayed for two nights and overall it was fine. Pool was very nice and quiet, lots of shaded area to lay out and relax. Front desk service was okay- seems to lack professionalism a bit, but willing to help out and overall very nice staff. Complimentary breakfast was delicious and fresh, but I noticed the coffee stayed out all day and I’m not sure it was replaced regularly with fresh coffee… Rooms were large and they were very clean, just not updated. Door slammed no matter how we shut it, and it wasn’t really a problem, I just felt bad for other guests. Again, fine for a night or two. Parking situation was a tad sketch… lots of signs saying to hide belongings and lock your car. We didn’t experience any issues and always parked where we could see the car from our room but a slight red flag. Location is okay fine in the early morning and late evening. Don’t try to drive anywhere on the main road from 10am-5pm, there’s SO MUCH TRAFFIC. Not really a laid back area, but a short drive to less populated areas. Overall a fine night stay and I would stay here again in a pinch.

Breakfast was good and fresh. Loved the mini waffle maker. Only complaints were the door to the bedroom didn't shut completely or lock and the morning of checkout - housekeeping was banging on the door which woke our child up. Not sure what's the point of doing that when we are checking out and it was way before checkout time. Other than that the location was great and had ample parking.
